Some super exciting news to kick of 2018!
My book “Navigating Alzheimer’s – Survival Secrets of a Long Term Carer” has been selected by Hollywood Baskets to be included in their much sought after Gift Bags provided to Award Nominees and celebrities staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California for the:
75th Golden Globes Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills on 7th January, 2018
24th Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, 21st January, 2018
90th Academy Awards (Oscars) in Hollywood, 5th March, 2018
70th Emmy Awards, in Los Angeles, 17th September, 2018

To some, my book on Alzheimer’s care-giving might seem an unusual topic to be included in the Award Gift Bags but what I find is that everywhere I go I meet people who have someone in their family or friends, whether it be grandparents, parents, siblings, aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces or someone in their close circle of friends or colleagues who is affected either directly or indirectly by Alzheimer’s.
I was delighted by comments from Lisa Gal Bianchi (Hollywood Baskets) who said “I agree with you 100 percent. We are so thrilled to have you on board.”
Want to learn about Alzheimer’s and the impact it has on carer’s and families? Come along to my Information Session at the Burnside Library on Wednesday, 12th July at 6:30pm. Register your place by phoning the Council on 8366 4280.
Alzheimer’s can be a confronting topic. Best to hear from someone who has guided their family through this challenging experience.
